From the Author
I've been a writer my whole life. The earliest piece of my writing that my parents kept was a poem about the secrets only a conch shell knows. I was in elementary school at the time. It took me years to realize that writing is a passion that will not fade. I'd never spent much time thinking of publishing my work because it's scary putting pieces of yourself out there, but for my first book, I had to. I had to let someone know they're wonderful just the way they are. I'm excited about what the future will bring, even though I have no idea what's in store. Maybe the conch shell does.
